Happy Birthday, Kate! The big 6!

Happy birthday to the best oldest cousin around!  It's not easy being the oldest sibling or the oldest cousin in the family.  She currently has four pairs of eyes watching her every move every day!   But, God sure knew what he was doing when he created sweet Kate.  She is so lovely and caring.  She sets a wonderful example for Caroline and Drew, and Andrew and I are so grateful for her (and the parents who are raising her!)  She truly is the perfect mixture of tomboy and girly girl.  She will roll in the mud... while wearing a princess crown.  She will help you bake cookies... while sticking her tongue in the bowl.  She will kiss you... while rubbing your face with sweet dirty, sticky hands.  What a blessing!

Happy Birthday, Kate!  We love you!

I dare you to look at this post and NOT smile ;)

Are you smiling, yet?  :)  I sure am.  What a miracle this boy is (and his sister, too!)

Ahoy Matey!

Thanks to Mimi and Pop, Caroline has been sailing almost every evening.

"Mommy, look!  I'm a pirate.  Arggh!"

Happy Summer! :)

Who gave my baby the Kate Gosselin haircut?

It took Caroline's hair two years to grow enough for a haircut.  Drewbie's?  Just seven months.  Looks like we need to make a trip to the barber.  :)

Playing Catch-Up

We've been busy these past few weeks (hasn't everyone?!) so here is a bit of a "catch-up" post.

We celebrated Nana's and Victoria's birthdays, so there has been a lot of this...

And a lot of this...

Drewbie is crawling and trying to stand-up, so there has been a lot of this...

Oh, and have you heard?  Caroline is a princess and a ballerina.  "Daddy, I want to dance."  Is her favorite sentence.  So, naturally, there has been a lot of this...

And this...

Until next time!

Robby is a Model...

... or at least he thinks he is (and he could be!)  He loves the camera and the camera loves him!  ;)  I'm always thrilled to be able to take pictures of a toddler who actually will look into the camera and smile for me!!

Jesus, Bunnies and Golden Eggs

This Easter was Drew's first!  It started out with an Easter egg hunt at Mimi and Pops country club.  I think we got a glimpse of what Daddy was like as a child as he was determined for Caroline to find the golden egg.  And what do you know??  She did!!  She won a big stuffed bunny as the prize.  I don't have a picture of it as she was a bit overwhelmed with her "the kid who found the golden egg" status.  ;)  But, Pop did manage to calm her down to take a picture with the real Easter bunny.  As in all pictures nowadays, Caroline refuses to smile.

Daddy and Drew accidently dressed alike.

After the egg hunt, lunch and naps, we headed over to our church's Easter celebration, Easteriffic.  Check at our church's site:  http://www.burnthickory.com/

Is that Caroline turning away from a picture?  That never happens!  ;)

Victoria's friend, Elise, was in-town to spend the holiday with us!

On Sunday, we went to church and headed over to Nana's house.  Triple G is one of the most photogenic people I know.  If the Lord allows me to live until I'm 90-years-old, I hope I look this good (as a woman of course!)

Yes, C's face has dirt all over it.  It's hard to keep this adventurous girl clean for just two minutes!  But, strangely, it warms my heart to get kisses from a sticky, dirty faced girl!

Happy belated Easter!
